Interact, don’t just broadcast. And turn off the prescheduled tweets that you won’t answer. They’re just annoying.

Debbie – there are a number of applications out there that allow you to write a Tweet and then schedule it to post whenever you want. I know some people who share Tweets while they are sleeping. They aren’t there to respond and it’s not about conversation. They are just broadcasting that they are sleeping or wanting their followers to click a link that makes them money.

I have a different opinion on this one. I pre-schedule my tweets from 7pm to 11pm because that’s the time most of my followers are on line.  When I get a chance I normally reply to them
immediately, otherwise the next day reply is also fine.  

Another reason for pre-scheduling is this: Often I have something valuable to share but I want my tweets reach the intended audients & I write it down before it escapes me.

Third, I want to spread out my tweets, say every 30 minutes instead of 20 tweets appearing all at once on my followers’ timeline.  It’s annoy!

Btw, I use twitter for personal pleasure, not to sell people my products. :=)

Exactly, some of my followers just post links to promote their products.  Sometimes I wonder why I follow them! Time to do some clean up.
