today

Today brought me a beautiful surprise. It took me back a little. Surprises keep me on my toes. Those subtle things that in an instance take me from sad to glad, or the other way around. It wasn’t luck, but it was fate. And when I know it’s fate, I know someone is watching…all the time. And I forget that all the time. So I take a deep breath and say a little thanks. My thanks is nothing in the grand scheme of things, but somehow it matters. And then I remember this is just TODAY and there’s an even better tomorrow. Oh and that surprise was getting the privilege to talk to a stranger who just needed someone to listen. Little isn’t it?
