the top 10 things i love about the fort
The above photo is of Fort Collins, CO. If you haven’t been following this blog for long, then you probably don’t know that I moved from Atlanta, GA almost eight months ago. Things are quite a bit different here, but in a good way. Atlanta has a lot of great things to offer, but it just wasn’t for me.
So, here are the top ten reasons why I love the city of Fort Collins:
- I can see the mountains from here.
- In Colorado people despise litter.
- No humidity. This should be #1.
- People are really active here. We are the healthiest state by the way.
- It’s at the right size where everybody knows everybody. I take this as a good thing.
- It snows here for most of the year. I love snow now, but someday it might get old.
- Everything is in walking distance.
- People are too nice here. I thought people in the south were nice before I came here.
- There’s not a “Bible Belt” mentality. (If you’ve lived in the south, then you know what I mean.)
- We have the coolest looking license plates in the nation. This is a fact.
Well, there’s my top 10 list for why I dig this place so much. Now it’s your turn…
Give me one reason why you love the city that you live in.
