I’m now reading “A Million Miles in a Thousand Years” by Donald Miller and it’s making me realize how bad my memory really is. It’s challenging me to write down everything I can remember. I’m pretty much missing from age 7 until age 14. Pictures kind of help me fill in the gaps. At age 15 I start remembering more things because I was in love and it’s easy remembering those moments. Back when things were easy, not many responsibilities and summer camp. Those are some of my favorite memories. What’s your favorite memory?

I got the book for Christmas and finished it not too long after. What I got out of it was more what kind of legacy will I leave or how will people remember me. Very similar to what you are asking us. Am I willing to go out of my way to help someone? Or am I going to sit on my rear and do what only I want to? Am I willing to change my plans to fit into what God wants me to do, even if it makes me uncomfortable?

Trying to think of what my favorite memory is. Like you slotches of said memory have faded. (Ahhh I'm too young for this aren't I???) I think favorites from my childhood would be skiing with my family. Playing in the snow. Playing at the playground at the school – I lived in a VERY small town….the school playground was about as much as you got.
