I'm super late on this; just catching up on blog posts after a crazy month.

My fiancé unexpectedly broke up with me in January. I had to relocate to an entirely new city. I still haven't found a job. I'm doing a lot better emotionally, but still struggling to understand why it had to be this way, and how things could possibly be better with someone else. Honestly, I'm scared of what God's plan for me is, if it isn't my ex. I hitched my star to his and now I feel like everything's fallen apart, at least in that department.

How can we pray for YOU?

I run a children's charity in the UK which we are struggling to re-establish after 10 years of working with kids. I would really appreciate it if you could throw some prayer time our way... please? We're called Kids First Trust and I (Gloria) have been trying to pray my way through the daily struggles whilst remaining as positive as I can for my staff, volunteers and all the schools that we work with. Thanks in advance :)

Well, I left my job at the end of February, to pursue my calling in ministry, and especially as a musician. I need prayer for the right doors to be opened for my to be able to start doing session music for worship recordings, as well as to be able to get into the live scene.

I go to a church in the inner city of Charleston and run the tech booth. Most of sound system is donated from other churches, some of the equipment is 30 yrs old. Our heart is for the inner city, those that are in government housing, poverty, homeless, struggling with drug/alcohol addiction, everything. We have used this same equipment for the big outreaches that we have, upcoming one for Easter. I'm asking for prayer that we get some better, more quality equipment. No one deserves to hear worship music poorly. NO ONE!

I would have offered this up earlier, but have been gone all day at our Area 12 step meeting. Once a month, but all day long for those of us who do service work by making sure our literature & meetings are accessible to all who need them.

My prayer request. I am a RPh. Not good when you are a recovering addict. I have been a RPh since 1981 and my license was put on probation in 2007. I can hardly get my resume in when I get the "we've already filled the position" letter or email. I have been unemployed since Nov 08. In addition to that, my husband lost his job in May. He took the job here in WA after several months of looking. We moved 1700 miles. My problem is reciprocity for my license. I think with the amount of time I have that it shouldn't be a problem, but the cost is very high. Several hundred dollars. Have tried SkillSource, WorkSource, pharmacies. I'm out of ideas. And have 2 more weeks of unemployment remaining. I'm on the final extension. I feel I have surrendered it & not taken it back. I have learned to be humble these past few months. I left my home of 25+ years & am trying to build one here, but am sad. That I haven't done enough. Or done it right. Thanks, Adam.

Please join me in praying for a family member. He is struggling with drug addiction and depression. I've been there and understand how deep that snare can be. Also, his close friend recently overdosed and died. Its a very difficult time for him.

In 30 days? I will have 1000 days clean! 2 1/2 years ago that seemed unattainable! It just blows my stinkin' mind! Just remember we can only carry the message, not the addict. God carries them.
