I’m living in Colorado, which is my dream place. The only other place I’ve ever wanted to live is in London, England. I just don’t think it would be the same as America. Have you ever wanted to live overseas? If so, where would you like to be?

Does Hawaii count as overseas?
I've never lived overseas (except for the fact I do live overseas from you…) but soon will be when Diane & I move to Ireland, her homeland. I've spent almost 6 months over there, but never actually lived there, so it will be very different.
Never really had a desire to live overseas before though, just always wanted to travel.
Near the mountains, somewhere in the Southern Hemisphere in the winter, and northern hemisphere in the summer – and always have nice sunny days and cool mountain air!
sure. i'll let it:)
very cool. had no idea u were moving. thats awesome. i'll have to come visit at some point. selling everything?
thats awesome. i would love to go to Australia as well. learned something new about ya– grew up in NYC. how was that?
yep that sounds pretty good:)
wow u sound well traveled. thats awesome youre learning different languages. i think i would enjoy it in any of those places
South Africa…just got back and could live there…..
Fantastic! I love NYC and I miss it terribly especially this time of the year because there is NO place like NYC at Christmas. Ever been?
i have never been overseas.. i have always followed my children vicariously… how sad is that? i have always thought that i would like to live in scotland….
Australia is the first place that comes to mind. Not sure why but I think it would be cool!
I lived/worked in London for about 6 months. It was amazing. I would love to get back over there for a couple of years. I would also love to get some quality time in Australia or more time in Guatemala (spent a couple of months in Xela).
P.S. I lived in Colorado for 5 years. Currently in DC. Not a day goes by that I don't daydream about moving back to CO.
Oh, and Ireland. I would like to live there, too. So many places!! This is where reincarnation would be really helpful, if I believed in it.
I have never lived overseas but would like to move to Australia, Sidney or Melbourne. I've been to Sidney, never been to Melbourne but I hear it is like NYC and I grew up in NYC so I think I would do fine there.
Hey it's OK – you've got a stack of people to keep up with and I'm always amazed how well you do that !
We're likely not selling much but rather putting it into storage since we plan to be back here in Australia at some stage. We're certainly not taking much with us, because it's just not economical at all.
And yes, you'll have to come visit
We're gonna be in Belfast (or close enough – Carrickfergus is my wife's hometown)!
You can learn Polish…there are so many Polish people in Belfast now!!
When I was in college I went on my first trip outside the country (El Salvador) and it inspired me to learn Spanish. I took all the courses I could and worked as the only American at a landscaping company. I picked up Mexican and Honduran slang and studied the poems on the walls of port-a-potties (not an uplifting exercise) in preparation for the Lord sending us to Latin America.
About 2 years ago we got our chance and moved to…. Ukraine. Not all that much Spanish spoken there. So we stayed there for the better part of 2 years, all the while trying to learn Russian.
Now we're thinking about joining my sister and her family in Belfast where I can actively NOT use either my Russian or Spanish but spend my days learning about the intense differences there. It's just a thought but I think we'd enjoy it there.
Spain or Italy, there's just something about their languages that I like very much.
I already live overseas then.
Nice. Come, and we can make you settling in a bit easier.
awesome man
