A few years ago my husband and I went to Northern California for Thanksgiving to spend it with his youngest brother & his wife. (Has become a tradition for us now even though this year we couldn't go because of my surgery) But they were about 45 minutes from Yosemite so we went there for most of the day and had a picnic lunch then came home and made dinner. Was a ton of fun.
