iPad

When I first saw the iPad it looked awesome. From the sleekness to the software. I thought “If I love my iPhone, I am sure to love this.” Then, I saw Michael Hyatt‘s blog post about the apps that would be made for it. People came up with some pretty cool stuff over there. That made me want it even more when it comes out. Then I read some comments from people about what it didn’t have and why those were bad things. The comments went something like this:

Well, it doesn’t have a pen, it doesn’t have voice to text and well it doesn’t have a camera to do video conferencing on the go.

Then, those same people said that those things would probably be in the next version of the iPad. I really dislike that part of technology.- The buy something really cool one day and then it’s obsolete the next. I guess that’s a part of it, though. So, here’s the questions for you about all his iPad hype. Are you gonna get one? If so, which version? And, what things would u like to see on the iPad that aren’t on there yet?

My MacBook Pro's Apple Care just expired. I use it mostly as a mobile workstation. I take it to work everyday so I have my music and media to listen to. If I had an iPad, I wouldn't have to do that. I'm likely going to get the 64GB 3G. I know it's not cheap. But it's a lot cheaper than a new laptop. The potential for some great apps is huge. I hope developers blow our socks off.

p.s. I'm a Kindle user. So I don't think I'll use the iPad as a reader terribly often. However, the fact that I can easily launch the Kindle app on the iPad if I do want to pickup what I'm currently reading is a nice plus.

I think that the reason the launch of the ipad was so underwehelming was that there were literally zero groundbreaking ipad exclusive apps. just like with the iphone the true value of the ipad will not be known until the revolutionary apps begin to emerge, allowing each individual to personnalize their own experience.

the difference is similar to that of house hunting, and viewing a potential home with no furniture versus one with furniture in it…

I have my own iPad and I love it so much! Because of its fun apps and good softwares that can be installed and also for its stylish design and durable protection. So I can say that it is awesome!
