I used this video awhile ago in a post entitled “The Best Church Video Ever”. I absolutely love it because it makes me laugh every time. I’m not going to judge whether or not this is real because I don’t know the guy personally, but it seems a bit over the top to me. Maybe God likes a person dives into a baptismal. Why not?

Although this is an extreme case of emotions running wild in a church, do you believe there is a place for big emotions in church?

I went to a pretty wild church when the Toronto Blessing was sweeping the nation. I saw some crazy stuff including a dude who put on a white robe and ran around the sanctuary saying he was the bride of Christ. But I never saw anyone dive into a baptismal. I like the guy who threw his jacket at the singer. And, did I hear a vuvuzela??

ok I am just saying, the jumping in the baptismal is funny. BUT when the gentleman throws the jacket at the singer and the singer does not miss a note…. You sir are a professional!!!

LOVE IT!! I’ve seen things like this at my church. Once watched the Kenneth Hagin DVD “When the Spirit Gets to Movin’” where people were dropping like flies with just a touch. Before I knew it, I was running around my living room!

If we can worship God with our mind, we can worship Him with our emotions. I think we’re too easily offended. Some people are authentic, some just do it for show. But then some people that worship God with their mind do it just for show as well.

I have always believed that when an individual’s expression of worship is distracting to others than it may not really be worship.

I too have shared this video and watched it a dozen times…
And although it is easy for me to judge and say, “These people are missing it.”

But then I wonder how I personally “miss it”.
