So, my new routine has started. I’m up at 6am and in bed by 11pm. It’s hard, but I fit so many more important things into my day. I’ve always been a believer of whatever happens that it happens “just because.” And then I get COMFORTABLE with the results. But lately, I’ve seen a shift. I have seen my efforts that are put into things actually make things happen. They make a difference. It’s a hard thing to explain because God is in control of everything, yet He meets us halfway and loves our efforts. Has God shown you something in the past few days that just made you stand back and wonder in awe at how He puts things in a different perspective?

  • Dude..definitely agree with the whole getting comfortable aspect. I believe that God takes joy and blesses us when we make an effort to change things up and become less comfortable. This fast is challenging, but the Lord has been blessing my time in the Word..and showing me the importance of the Holy Spirit. I'm excited to see what new things I learn. Praying for you bro!

  • I felt my nephew kick in the womb yesterday. Seems like a simple thing, but the subject being discussed was abortion. It was as if he knew exactly what that meant and began to make his presence known like he was trying to say "Yes, babies are alive in here. Feel me move. I'm not a mass of dead tissue. I'm a life." My perspective on abortion has been put into a whole new light recently, and that was the cherry on the nuts on the hot fudge on the sundae.
