I love a church for one reason. The music. The second most important thing is the preaching/teaching. I don’t really know the third most important thing to me about church. Maybe if it has chairs or pews. Also, the color of the carpet is crucial.

I know some of you folks really enjoy other ministries, though. It could be dancing, greeting, audio, coffee…

So, whatever that thing that keeps you going back to church is, share it here.

If you don’t attend church now, well then just tell me one thing you’ve liked about church when you attended in the past. Maybe you have to think about that for a while. That’s cool, too.

Jealousy. It holds you back. It’s that stupid thing that creeps in. It’s that thing that leaves you always wanting and never satisfied. It’s that thing that will keep you pushing your own agenda without giving others a chance. It’s that thing that will make you miss out on opportunities. Great opportunities.

I could change every “you” to “me” or “I” in this post and it would work because I’ve felt that never ending, ugly thing.

I’ve been putting off a lot of “Come to Jesus” meetings with people lately. Funny that the “Come to Jesus” meeting is dubbed as a bad thing, but I’m going with that saying. I’m not too fond of confrontation, but sometimes you gotta bring that junk on. So, today I’m doing what needs to be done. Maybe you need to have some of these same talks. Do it. Today. It’ll be good for you.

I never used to wear hats, but now I find myself always having some sort of hat on now. It might be that I just cut my hair a lot shorter. I’ve been going with this grey hat I have on and I’m just guessing it’s in style. It reminds me of an english newspaper boy that rides a bike. Maybe you can see that picture in your head.

Yes, it’s that time again, folks. It’s the best time of the year in my opinion. My team is of course the Auburn Tigers. This is because I grew up in Alabama. If you know anything about growing up in Alabama, you know that you either go Crimson Tide or War Eagle. So, here we go with the trash talk.
